Class Ab, BD, D or Digital D amp?

What kind should I buy if I am only going to be feeding subwoofers with it? (the car has a 500W I will be leaving to control the existing equipment) and what else will I need to wire the second amp in (the original is "stock")

A simple class D mono channel is what you use to power subwoofers since they take a great deal of wattage and you need to power them efficiently.

Class BD is a rockford fosgate thing.. its not even really a class. And Digital Amps just means they have digital readouts on them. Class AB are for highs and mids since they are only 60% efficient and dont have subsonic filters.
