Mac Eye Primer for under eye bags?
I have a horrible problem with under eye bags. I always try to conceal it but I'm awful with make-up. I've decided to invest in higher quality products but would like to understand them fully. The girls are mac only want to make a sale so they up-sell everything and can not trust their opinions.
Can anyone recommend to me, who uses mac, what would be the best way to cover under eye circles and which products I should purchase?
Dont worry about color tone, that i can always figure out in the store

to cover under eye bags you'll want to use a concealer. the mac studio finish concealer is the one i 'd recommend, as it provides the best coverage, IMO.
mac concealers come in both NC and NW shades. you'll want to buy one that will help to counteract the darkness under your eyes, so try to buy a concealer in an NW shade.

I haven't used Mac products, but I also have the under eye bags? I hate them!!! I use Garnier eye roller. Lasts a long time and works if you use it every day. Also, try putting a light colored eye shadow (like white) on the inside corners of your eyes and right under the eyebrow. It helps to open up the eye and brighten the eye.
If you are set on buying a product from Mac, ask about their return policy.

your eyeliner is smudging. maybe you can try liquid or gel eyeliner. they are definitely more smudge proof then pencils or crayon eyeliners. if you tend to have oily eyelids, get an eye primer, meaning primer meant for eye area. it'll help with the eyeliner. i dont know if it's available over at your area, but there is a japanese brand liquid eyeliner which supposedly gives you a 1 day 'tattoo'. the line stays on for 24 hrs even after crying. they have patented brush tip which gives you a very very thin line so it wont be very obvious even if you make a mistake. my friend tried the tester on her hand and it only lighten after our FURIOUS rubbing(her hand became totally red so i dont think anybody's eyelids can stand the rubbing). now for eyebags and circles, sometimes it's due to genes. and if it's the case for you, then sorry, nth much can be done. i dont have much problem with eyebags but i do have a serious problem with dark circles. and i have to say, the best way to get rid of dark circles is to sleep! sleeping works way better than any eyecream you can find. it's true. and for eyebags, if you happen to have a problem with sinus or any other nasal allergy, you WILL have eyebags. if not, for fine lines and eyebags you can try to alleviate the problem with a good eyecream for firming and proper ways of applying. after massaging the eyecream into your eye area lightly in a circular motion, tap around your eyes as lightly as possible and finish it up by pressing on your temples.

use mac concealer if its the right color it will work fine
