What if Michael Phelps was wearing the X5 suit ?
Would there still be controversy about the suit ?

well yes and no. There would still be controversy about the suit, but because phelps wasnt wearing it and he was beaten by someone who was there is a lot more controversy than there was.
He cant wear the suit because of sponsers, and his coach was right when he said the world records are becoming meaningless because of these suits.
I think they are going to ban the body suits all together for men, I hope they do but that means the world records set with the body suits(which is all of them i believe) will take a really long time to be beaten, unless they reset the records which isnt fare to the people who hold the records.
So there would still be controversy but not as much, there has been controversy since the LZR suits came out.
FINA is going to make a final decision soon about the suits.
