You know that really annoying thing that happens at almost every wedding where people 'clink' the glasses to get the couple to kiss...instead of that you can have people come up to the mic and either sing a song that has the word love in it or write/say a poem that has the word love in it. I have seen this done at a few weddings and people actually do participate in it...plus you don't have to put up with obnoxious glass 'clinking' throughout the entire meal. Just before dinner have the Best Man or Maid of Honor get on the mic and tell everybody how this works.

This isn't really a game, more of a dance, but I always like the generation dance. You know where the DJ plays a song and all of the married couples get on the floor and one by one he calls out so many years, for example been married 5 years, 10 years, and so on, and then by the end the couple that has been married the longest is left dancing on the floor by themselves.

    We did the "bridal test"

Bride and groom take off their shoes, and each holds one of each shoe - one of bride's and one of groom's. They sit back-to-back with a shoe in each hand while the DJ/emcee asks questions about the couple. The bride and groom hold up the shoe that corresponds with what they think the answer is right. They can't see each other's answer, but everyone else can see both answers. The crowd laughs, ooh's and aah's.

For the best wedding and wedding reception information go to: www.theknot.com.

They have all the best information and ideas, and where to get what you are looking for.

Source(s): I had a friend suggest that site to me.
