When using a ouija board, does a homemade one work as well as one that was bought?

The board itself is not so important as the person using it. The on I have I bought on Ebay actually and has worked well enough for me. I also have one I made myself and the results from the two have been much the same. As long as the person using the board has the proper training (or innate talent) to communicate with spirits, what they use to do so doesn't matter. The Ouija board, as with an OTHER object is just a tool and as such only as effective as the person using it.

Yup. They work just the same, although store bought is a bit easier.

Now watch out for the "Don't use one!" comments. lol

(And please, any of those people show us verification that an Ouija board has actually done harm to anyone - unless they were already "certifiable."

Yes, if it is a way for demons and spirits to contact you, it will work. It can be made from paper, plastic, bricks, wood, anything. But I strongly advise you not to make your own or play with them any more. They are very dangerous and not just a silly little game. It is a way for evil spirits to connect to you.

Trust me, I would know. It has happened to me before. I swore to myself I would never touch one again. It was the most terrifying night of my life.

If you believe the stories, supposedly homemade ones are suppose to release evil spirits. Idk. I have used a store bought one. It was kinda freaky, it did move. I don't know if I believe it was a spirit tho. Why not? Make your own. Let me know if it works. =0)

They're exactly the same. The bought ones don't have magic dust on them or anything :p make one, save money and have fun!
