Is it possible to ask a question about a faith other than Christianity and not have Christians answer with....?

Go to Jesus, you must accept God, no that religion is wrong, you must become one of the flock in order to live happily or any other scripture quoting, we are right and they are wrong kind of answers. I mean absolutely no disrespect by this question, I am seriously enquiring why we can't get answers that are simply answers to the questions asked and not ones that imply we are morons for believing differently.

Thanks in advance and blessed be to all who take the time to answer, especially to the ones who take it seriously.

Update:

I see that some have decided to prove this theory correct right off the hop tonight. I don't mean that I don't appreciate your concern for my immortal soul, I am wondering if some of you can possibly answer outside of the book. Not ever person who asks a question about another faith even follows the faith they are asking about but when all that they read is how they are evil for comtemplating anything but christianity it doesn't exactly help your cause. As I said, I MEAN NO DISRESPECT TO ANYONE FOR ASKING THIS, and if you will check back over some of my answers to christian based questions you will see that I never preach my faith or tell you you are wrong, why can't I get the same respect? Oh, and fyi, not ALL non christians are atheists.

I would just like to apologize for the answers that you have received from christians that don't answer the way the Christ would answer.

I don't think that anyone here who has read the scripture would disagree with my saying that the only group that Jesus ever "had a problem" with or spoke a bit roughly to was the religious ones; known as the Pharisees and Saducees in the first century.

As for those of you who are as I once was, that are simply trying to ask honest questions and seek sincere answers to your questions, I apologize and sympathize. Those that are truly following Christ, who answer with the "hell and damnation" stuff, honestly do so because they don't yet understand the important of answering questions "seasoned with salt" to use a scriptural reference.

For you "bible bangers" out there you can refer to Colossians 4:6

That's the stupidist thing I have ever...Just kidding.

They obviously are trying to get to answer 1st, or have their answer closest to the top. Or, get to the next answer. Or, they don't know what else to say. Or, they believe that they are doing what is right. Or,...

Wait a minute, after all the time I've spent here, I figured out that it is pointless to wonder why. You will figure that out, too. Just hope that someone will give you an answer that addresses your question.

There are a few people here that will take your question seriously, and think for a minute.

Well, judging from the "answers" you have already gotten, obviously not! You get that a lot on Buddhist chat rooms, too. Annoying, but all you can do is try to remember they have good intentions. They are a fact of life, like the common cold, and no more use getting upset over. ;o)

    Blessed be!

Not really. They think they're doing you a favor by answering about Jesus and how you can get saved instead of the actual question at hand.

They probably think that if you convert to Christianity you'll be so happy and grateful that you won't mind the fact that your question wasn't respected or answered.

And atheists never answer questions meant for Christians only? Give it a rest!

A lot of "Christians" use their faith as an excuse to not think. They're threatened by thinking, so they turn to platitudes and threats instead.

I only read part of the first sentence, but that really shows me what a hypocrite YOU are and how many there really are because if that is the answer you don't want, you are going to be living in darkness on this Earth forever. Have fun.
