Transferring Grad Schools? Is it allowed?

I've been accepted to one university, but realize now that I'd rather go to another (which I neglected to apply to). Is transferring allowed? Or would it be better to decline and hope the other school accepts me when I apply in the winter?

Yes, but read the transfer policy of the other school very carefully. Universities who accept transfers will only accept a select number of graduate hours.

Yes, you can transfer. I transferred from one grad school to another in the middle of my masters. Which made it take almost twice as long to finish, but I'm very happy with my decision.
