I took a women's laxative. Will it still work?
I took tablets of my mom's laxative pills. The box says it's for women but I figure it should work for me too. I took them almost 24 hours ago and still no movement. Not even a slight rumble in my stomach. What should I do?

No, A woman's laxative is specially designed with toxins and chemicals that help with a woman's body, that differs from a Men's body, It wont digest and you have to take one for men to digest it or make it work

Well usually most laxatives work overnight, like say 12 hours. But since the laxative isn't working for you, I would say try an enema. It works fast; Probably about less than 5 minutes, and it's reliability is very high.

It should be fine, the pills are just meant for women.
I would go and buy a men's laxative. This should help with that rumbly in your tummy. (:
Feel better soon!

For your...restroom problem, I recommend you have more fiber in your diet. Eating fruits and vegetables can help clean your system. Remember, your intestines are a huge factor in your immune system. The cleaner and healthier it is, the healthier YOU will be.
And yeah...a would recommend sticking to men's brand. I doubt this would cause any harm, but it's better to play it safe.

You should only take a laxative when constipated. If you are eating properly you should not have any trouble going.Heaps of foods high in fibre and plenty of water should keep you happy.
