What happened to my picture, and how can I fix it?

Had a picture for (instead of?) my avatar for a long time, and a while ago, it turned into the gray smiley face. It's still there on my Yahoo blog and everything, and I've tried re-setting it (with same pic), but still just the gray smiley face! I see other people still have pics, but it seems like fewer of them. I checked on the Answers blog after it happened, but couldn't find any mention of a change. Any ideas what might have happened, and how to fix it?

Update:

Once I posted my question, the suggestions for similar open and resolved questions had a resolved question that had a link to where I needed to go. Apparently, my account had been switched to show the gray smiley face, instead of my picture, even though it was still there!

Thanks to those who answered. Sorry to bother everyone when I've found the solution myself, but if I hadn't asked, I never would have found the answer with that link. Thanks Mr. NicK!

Have you created your new Yahoo! profile page at http://profiles.yahoo.com/ and uploaded your image?

Yahoo! Answers no longer supports images on Yahoo! 360 as an avatar , as such, users are required to make a new Yahoo! profile and upload their custom image via the profile page.

Use the link above to make a new profile page if you have yet to do so and click the 'Change photo' link. Upload your desired image and select it as the image to use on Yahoo!

Once you have saved these changes, head on back to your Yahoo! Answers profile and click the 'edit my info' link. Continue to select the option to use your Yahoo! profile image as an avatar under picture options, and preview and save all changes.

    All the best

    Cheers

A while back, yahoo got rid of the yahoo 360°, and instead has these new profiles http://profiles.yahoo.com/

If you haven't created a new profile, your yahoo 360° picture turns into the grey default picture that you have now.

A new feature that I HATE is that your picture must now be square. You can't elongate it or make it rectangular.

You can't use http://www.360.yahoo.com/ anymore for your picture. You need to use http://www.profile.yahoo.com/ Set that up and upload the picture you wanted. There you go.
