shiny gold please help.?

i successfully patched shiny gold and fire red, but i do not know how to start shiny gold after that (yes i have a VBA emulator)

Maybe ur emulator does not support that file format.
Try to get a new emulator.
Or what u can do is after u open ur emulator and go to open the file, make sur u have selected ONLY GBA FILES. Then u can see if da game appears. If it doesnt, it is not an emulator game.
If it does, sumting rong with emulator
