    Greetings,

21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'

23 Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

The key is to realise that Jesus is speaking about Judgement Day. Many of His believers who always believed in Him and called Him "Lord" will not enter Paradise despite perfoming many miracles in Jesus' name simply because they did not follow The Father's will.

Now, can you tell me what the will of the Father is?

Maybe this is in the math section because it is a logic puzzle?

For example, this contradicts John 3:16

    Regards

Unless you do His Father's will, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. And what is His will? That you love your neighbor as you love yourself and this includes even your enemies (not in general but in a particular sense: people around you: your parents, brothers and sisters, your wife or husband, your children, people in your neighborhood, your superior, peers and subordinates in the office, classmates in school, etc.). Not all the time that they are your friends because like you they also have weaknesses. Everyday anyone of them is an enemy and you have to put up with it.

This refers to everyone who hears His word, particularly to His followers.

Well, it takes two to tango. Love or hate always involves relationship between two or more persons and this doesn't involve animals like cats and dogs when many people just want to relate with animals in order to avoid enemies in the relationships. It's always with persons. Because the way to show that you really love God is in the love of your neighbor. For St. Paul says: how can you say you love God which you cannot see when you cannot even love your neighbor which you can see. Jesus Christ also said: Do to others what you would like others do to you, this is the law and the prophets. It's always based on love then, the way He loved us even if we were still His enemies for anyone who sins is an enemy of God, yet, He offered His life as a ransom in order to save His enemies even those who killed Him. Because every human person is made in His likeness or image and that is where you can see Him (in that image) and exercise your love for Him.

Um i think that this means that those who call themselves christians just because they want to be called a christian will not be accepted into heaven. To be a christian is to not care about anything but loving god and follwing him
