Feeling sad for others?

Hey,

Lately, when I think about others money, I feel sad for them.

For example, if these person has a minimum wage job, or close to, and their expenses are more than their earning. (Credit card)

Especially this time, Christmas, people can expense more than 1000$ just for gifts. These persons can't really afford to, but they are such nice people that they can't buy enough. So now, besides their personal needs, and current debts, they have these debts to clear off.

I don't have any financial difficulties because I don't have any debts/loans/etc. I am only 19.

What do you think about this?

Someone else ever feel this way?

I feel bad for people but not those who overspent on gifts this month. Like the Beatles said, you can't buy love.

All people must learn to live within their means. If they do not have the CASH to spend, they should not buy anything. Use of credit cards can be disastrous.

The ones I truly feel sorry for are the ones who do not have enough to meet their most basic needs...food, clothing, shelter.

you are a sympathetic person whom sounds to be self-less and that is a quality that most do not carry... it is kind to worry about others who may have a lesser fortune... i too have felt bad/sympathetic for those around me; especially my family during christmas time. For everyone in my family has been in tight financial circumstances yet we all got each other gifts in which i felt kind of bad accepting because i know money is tight for most of them... do not however ask to help them, no one wants to be reminded that budgets are tight...
