Need help to remember the name of an old nintendo game...?

It was a game where the hero was a blue cat dressed as a detective. His weapon was a gun that shot a boxing glove. The bad guys were dressed like 1920-1950 gangsters.

If you remember that game's name please tell me for I want to find it back it was one of my favorite games when I was a kid...

The weapon sounds very similar to Felix the Cat's weapon.
