WHO WOULDA THOUGHT MANNY WOULD WIN?...umm...me.?
I am rarely one to gloat. I just had to put this post in. Not because I got the answer right (actually I got best answer) and I called the fight right (which I did)...but mostly because I got all thumbs down on my answers. Not ONE person thought that Manny had it in him to dump this fake on his ***.
So please read this link I pasted below where I predicted...and lets all say it together. DeLaHoya was NEVER THAT GOOD, just well handled!!!!

It's not so much that Manny won, it's the total and complete domination of Dela Hoya and how he destroyed Oscar that shocked me. Paquito's speed made it an easy fight for him, and DeLa Hoya took a pretty serious beating before it was stopped. I really though Oscar's size would have made a difference, but this one wasn't even competitive.
I though going in DeLa Hoya was gonna win, by the end of the 2nd round it was clear just how wrong I was. When Angelo Dundee asked Oscar if he had a headache, that scared the rest of the DeLa Hoya corner into the reality of the beating Oscar was taking and they mercifully stopped the punishment DeLa Hoya was taking.
After last night, I can't argue the point any more, Manny Pacquiao is the best P4P fighter in the world. It would be interesting to see if Mayweather would have enough to last against Manny.
P.S. I read your prediction, you nailed that one perfectly, well done.

To include Hatton's name in the mix is really like comparing apples to oranges. Hatton has no skills whatsoever. Never fought any 1st rate fighter except Gayweather where he terribly lost. Pacman's boxing skill, speed, power and talent is way ahead of Hattons. Plus he has fought so many calibre fighters than only Hatton could ever imagine.

Good prediction.
I didn't follow the weeks leading up to the fight, so I was surprised to hear before the fight that Pac-Man was the underdog. DLH couldn't match up against a fast Mayweather, nor a fast Mosley (twice), so I couldn't see him handle Pac-Man (who's also a much stronger puncher).

That was a good call!
DLH ain't that golden no more!. I guess age DOES matter when it comes to boxing. BTW where are all the people who were so sure DLH would win??

I am always on Manny's side, he is a God-fearing boxer and that's what makes him different from the rest.
