Anyone like me think that Marbury will resurrect his career once he's gone from New York? ?
The reason being is he can go now to a team with talent. Marbury has taken the Knicks to the playoffs once and almost got them there again through the horrible acquisitions and signings.

It'll never happen!
Marbury is a team cancer, and he has been everywhere he's played. He's a point guard without leadership, selflessness and the ability to run a team by making his teammates and team better.
He started out in Minnesota with KG and Guggliotta, and he fell out over his role on the offense (as a point guard he wanted to score more) and soon after was traded, ruining a core that would have eventually competed at a very high level.
Next, in New Jersey, he could never get into the playoffs, and was traded to Phoenix, where he played with Shawn Marion and Amare. Again, he never really played the point well, instead choosing to dribble the ball too much and throw up a lot of wild shots. Both the Nets and Suns flourished after he was booted.
And his latest fiasco in NY only highlight what is an egotistical, me first, selfish shell of a former NBA all-star.
If I were an NBA executive or GM, i wouldn't go anywhere near him!

Marbury will do what he wants to do. He gave his team the finger showing that if he doesn't want to play he won't. But if he decides to take a major pay cut and play with a team then he could definitely be the key for several teams.
He is not good enough to carry a team, but he does not suck.
EX.
If he went to Portland, played as part of the team and cut out the drama that team would instantly become a playoff favorite. That is what he can do.
He is stubborn and cocky, but so was KG and Paul Pierce when they were getting maximum contracts. It is all about the mindset for him.

Marbury who?!
I don't think he'll be able to save his career until he grows up. I wouldn't want my kids to be watching someone like him. He's not good enough to carry a team himself, but he is very talented and if he gets his head out of (you know) he'll have a shot of salvaging whats left of his career.

He could have a career like Vince Carter has in NJ after leaving the Raptors. Past his prime but still talented

Not until he grows up and start playing or waits until his contract expires....bc no team will wanna take on that kind of salary with it belonging to an immature selfish person...Just play the game Marbury!!!

no way. not a team player. he is terrible on a running team. he is a slow, plotting player. he would be an adequate player, coming off the bench.
he is simply, overrated.
