I've been described as a wallflower. What does it mean?

It sounds negative to me, it's like "boring" or "nothing special"...

What is your interpretation of being a "wallflower"?

All it means is that you keep to yourself sometimes and that you tend to be shy. Don't think of it as such a bad thing, I'm sure they didn't mean it in a bad way. Everyone has been called that once or twice in their life, no worries.

Being a wallflower is where you don't like attention and just blend in with the crowd. You're not popular, but you aren't a loser. Normally you get that name after being at a party and not really having fun, just sitting against wall not talking, you know, that sort of thing. Sorry someone called you that!

It means you don't mingle. Maybe it is bad maybe not, depends on the mingle. Just maybe you observe things before you get into it- that would be good. But wall flower means what it sounds like, a flower on the wall. You sit there not involved. My interpretation of being a "wallflower" is not negative.

Yeah I think it means that you're just hanging on the sidelines and not really "out there". Try to be more outgoing. Have some fun. :]

It means standing in the corner, silent, not moving and not having any fun. Who ever told you this, was trying to say,,,,,,,,,HAVE MORE FUN GIRL.
