Do Oster blades fit on Heiniger sheep shears ?

Yes, Heiniger shears can use combs and cutters from Oster, Lister, Andis, Heiniger and Aesculap interchangeably.

Oster Sheep Shears

I use Oster for dog grooming, but I have no experience in sheep sheering. I know a lot of shear combs can be interchangable, but one thing i could suggest (that I have done before) is either:

a) call Oster and/or Heiniger's customer service line and ask them. they should know what fits their products.

or

b) take your shears to your local distributor whether its a pet store or a feed shop and ask if you can test the Oster shears on your heiniger.

I used to do this with my dog grooming shaver and i also worked for petco for 3 years and we had people come in to test out different attachments on their shavers all the time.

Great to watch professionals at work. Sheep have to be shorn as they would not be able to withstand the summer heat with their fleeces on so no matter how low the price is it has to be done. Haven't seen a woman shearing but anything a man can do ! Women are far more capable than some people give them credit for.
