Election Question?!?
I still want to know how many people who think the president can overturn supreme court rulings, control our economy, and generally wipe our butts for us have any form of understanding of the actual powers of a president.
C'mon all you Change beggars out there, please elaborate on things like how Obama is going to fix our economy, aside from suggesting a bill banning walmart with the uh... help of uh... maybe someone like uh... good old ted uh... kennedy...
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
first responder totally missed the point for one thing. A president cannot solely change taxes, and regardless of how much money anyone has in their pocket, the overall mindset of Americans is the want to be paid as much as possible for whatever they do, and when shopping pay as little as possible. Cause and effect leads to companies seeking alternate work forces to make thier crap as cheap as possible and since american labor is so high, and no one wants to spend more than they have to- bye bye american workers.

No but he has influence and can appoint supreme court justices . He also has a high enough profile to cause the people to protest stupid congressional decisions and start recall petitions .

The President cannot overturn Roe vs Wade. It doesn't matter where the candidate stands, that decision has been made and it stands.
