How to i get my laptop to shut down?
i just got my first laptop, and when i select the shut down option, it doesn't really shut down. it either turns off for a minute and then comes back on, or it just goes into a low power mode. how do i get it to shut down completely?
i use windows vista home edition on a toshiba satellite pro, if that helps.
oh and that's " how DO i get my laptop to shut down"

When you open your start menu don't click on the power button. Rather click on the arrow facing right and select shut down. That should shut it down completely. Hope it helps.
