If your not supposed to have sex for pleasure then why does it feel so good?

This is a very interesting question.

If sex was in itself sin then a sacrife would be needed for children conceived out of wedlock. However none is needed, and this issue is only the ruined dowry price of a virgin. The man concerned pays a full dowry and marries the girl, only if the father permits, and without possibility of divorce.

Fornication has changed its meaning, in the Bible it means Adultery, or Bestiality, or Sodomy, or Incest. In our society it has become sex outside marriage. Very confusing. If sex outside marriage was wrong - Jesus would have arranged to have to woman living in sin in John Ch 4 stoned, however there is no condemnation whatsoever.

Correct, sex before marriage is forbidden and a sin. The reason why sex is so pleasurable is to help the love between a married couple grow and to bring each other closer mentally, physically, and spiritually. This would be classified as making love. This pleasure is meant for a lifetime and only intensifies with time. Two people just hopping in the sack with each other, searching for that perfect mate and never finding it because you can't base an entire relationship on sex alone. It is a shallow and short-lived lust and classified as fornication. It is very impersonal because the people would more than likely jump from partner to partner because there is no actual love involved as there would be in marriage. Also jumping from partner to partner is liable to bring with it something that neither wants, pregnancy and disease.

Sex is for the pleasure of the husband and the wife. My religion believes in fasting. Paul instructs the husband after a fast go unto the wife. This means to go to the wife and have sex so you want be tempted to get it somewhere else. If you want an honest relationship have your sex in marriage. God made his rules about sex because it can really mess up peoples lives. Having babies out of wedlock really causes a lot of problems for everyone involved. Pick you partner, marry them and have sex with them. Just remember if you have 10 kids people will talk bad about you. But the talk is worse if you have 10 kids with 4 or 5 different daddies. get the point?

Of course sex is for pleasure! God made it that way for Adam and Eve before they got kicked out of the garden. The reproductive aspect of sex is secondary and only became necessary to keep the human race alive until Salvation was accomplished through Jesus.

God doesn't punish you for sexual pleasure, just for the miss-use of the great gift He gave you. God created sex in the Garden to let Adam and Eve give each other pleasure, and then later told them to have sex and "multiply" to fill the Earth. Any other use of our sexual nature is against God's will and a sin.

Show me where God says that sex is only for creating children? He says that is one reason for sex, but throughout scripture He says things like He created us to be sexual beings, but only in the confides of a married man and woman. Sex is pleasurable, however that pleasure needs to be just between a husband and wife. My husband and I never had our own children, (we did adopt)- but we were not sinning, because of that. We would have sinned if we had sex before marriage.

Doing whatever you want, sounds better a religion anyway? We were created to glorify God,and we were made in His image, we cannot make Him into ours, sorry. Sex is pleasurable within marriage, whether the couple can have children or not. Read the "Song of Solomon book, and you will see that.

Who says? Not to have sex before marriage is not the same as not taking pleasure in sex after marriage. The other thing you say is only used by small protestant extreme groups and not representative for religion as a whole. And btw if you can not wait with sex until after marriage God forgives you anyway, but you better repent child, you better repent.

TECHNICALLY~ nature made sex feel good so that all animals will want to reproduce and propegate the species. I mean, really!!! Why not if it feels that great. That is the evolutionary reason. God says that sex is a reward for being pure until you are married~ Kind of like when you wait for the best dessert on the cart in the restaurant, and then make yourself wait to eat it until everyone else has finished their meal and everyone has their coffee. You have to decide for yourself what you want to do, but just remember~ you can only give away your virginity once, so make sure you do it for the reasons that are right to YOU!

I believe in no sex before marriage but not that it can't be for pleasure. I don't think God commands all married couples of have children. We have enough people in the world.

Sex is to populate the earth however, it is pleasurable and God thinks that's okay...with your spouse. A husband and wife do not, obviously, have sex only to have children, it's fun and feel's good, there is nothing wrong with that. The Bible doesn't say there is anything wrong with that (when talking of man and wife).

As per Islam it is not only for reproduction but also for your pleasure,

But should be legal after Marriage.
