Yes, but be careful they do not freeze! They will keep much better in a fridge than on countertop.

Refrigeration will prolong their lifespan. However, they don't taste as good cold, so bring them out and allow them to come to room temperature before eating them.

Yes. 41F or a little lower. You should probably set the internal temp of your fridge to 37F (since you open the door frequently). And you want it to be able to maintain that temperature.

Yes, keep them near the top, so they don't get too cold.
