If it is a silver filling (amalgam) then you may need to wait a couple of hours to floss or chew something hard especially if it was a large filling. If the filling is tooth colored (composite) then you don don have to wait. It is a resin material and it sets as soon as they shine the bight blue light in it.

there isn't in all probability an exact quantity of time you are able to desire to attend. I each and every from time to time brush splendid after , different cases after 30 min , different cases after an hour. so which you notice it would not incredibly count variety. additionally , 2 minutes is suitable (: and two times an afternoon is nice , minimum. optimal is thrice an afternoon , do not brush better than that. people who brush thrice an afternoon in many cases have braces and can desire to eliminate nutrition (: desire it facilitates.

you don't have to wait long at all! when i had my filling done i had to wait only 1 hour without drinking, or eating. after that, i could eat, drink, brush and floss.

At the regular times, after a meal and snacks, and before bed.

Your dentist should have told you. Call his office and ask. It's eating more than brushing and flossing that you have to be careful of.

JUST 1 HOUR AFTER ANY TYPE OF FILLING IS MORE THAN ENOUGH TIME.
