Okay to answer this we have to pretend like there is no temperature change because even with Earth's atmosphere, if it was placed there it would not be able to sustain intelligent life.

As for our prospective the only things that would change would be our perception of years, day length, seasons, and months. Also one AU would change in terms of distance because now we are farther away from the sun.

If the Earth and Mars were suddenly swapped we would have to adjust to 687 day year. This would have a terrible effect on wildlife. Our lives would be measured on only half the number of years as before.

Also, if the moon didn't come along our tidal system would all but disappear. However if we had the moons of Mars, our tidal system would change dramatically.

For distance the only change is the distance from the earth to the sun so the astronomical unit or AU would change.

Finally with decreased solar radiation our overall climate would get colder.

let us assume we manage to live on mars ok.TIME the year of earth would become longer as the revolution time around sun would increase. on mars it is 1058 days a year! the day would be the same. an the planet will be cooler.

Earth is in the perfect spot, If it moved even a foot or so either way we would be too hot or too cold. If we were in mars position we wouldn't be able to survive. mathmatically I don't know how it would change, but I know we would the fourth planet from the sun, and we'd be really cold.

We wouldn't need to change our perspective because in being that Mars cannot sustain life for us, we wouldn't even be alive.
