Why do so many people mistrust there spouses?.

I keep seeing these questions like possible affair, I think my wife/husband is cheating on me. They do not even say they have any proof other then they are working late or something as silly as having to go on a business trip.

Really how do these people expect there relationship to last if all they do is assume the worst of their mate?.

They don't expect it to last...they're looking for permission to be selfish fools. Marriage licenses should be MUCH harder to get!

Well, I think that is why they are asking on here so that they don't go to the spouse accusing and attacking. They are consulting with people with some experience so that they know whether their suspicions are worth investigating further. People may not have proof but keep in mind THEY are in the relationship with these people and can sometimes sense something amiss.

I agree that these people are insecure. But it's hard not to be when you hear all these stories of people cheating, and what signs to look for. When someone's behavior changes like they are working late all of a sudden, going out more, not calling, etc. it is human nature to look for reasons why. People are creatures of habit, and when the habits begin to change, there is usually another reason behind it.

I think it is human nature to not trust people.....& I know I have negative thinking but does anyone know more than a hand full of people that are married for over 10 years & are truely happy????? I dont, & thats why I really dont even see a point to go through all the trouble going in & all the BS coming out when you divorce.....no thanks

Because it hurts a lot more when you didn't see it coming.

But I have to admit some people are over the top with being jealous and suspicious of their spouses.

There is a fine line between checking that they are being faithful and just being scary.

No one cheats except you yourself. When you lack in trust and love, you remain shaky and want to catch on anything you think can help your inner struggle.

And if someone likes someone other than you, give way and live your life joyously, but again you need to trust yourself, life and its ways. If you don't, you are in such troubles.
