Canadian Immigration?

I am an Asian and applied canadian immigration from Europe. Now, with new law, visa officer has transferred my case back to home county. I need to know what will happen now? Will they start it from the scratch or what? Or now how much time it will take to get the permanent resident visa?

Please do let me know, if anyone has any idea about it...

Thanks.

Update:

I have applied in federal skilled category

What way of immigration you applied for?

    Skilled workers and professionals

    Investors, entrepreneurs and self-employed persons

    Sponsoring your family

    Provincial nominees

    Quebec-selected skilled workers

you should search contact with Canadian visa offices responsible for your region

usually, you can apply where you live regardless of your country of origin. Providing you meet legal requirement for stay in Europe. ( one year minimum residency requirement.)

the fact that your file has been transferred, it means that the file has to wait in till your turn comes up, depending on the waiting list.

i would guess 2 yrs wait.
