Do you agree that Anthony Hopkins portrayal of Hannibal Lecter was the best villain in movie history?

Hopkins version of Lecter is the best villian based on his sheer evilness. His ability to get inside someones head and destroy their life or cause them to commit suicide ranks him as a trmendous villian. Ledger's version of the Joker is exactly the same way, however the Joker needs to use actions to get his evil across. Lecter only needed his high-perceptive and critical intellect to destroy a life. That is why I feel Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Lecter is the greatest villain in film history. With Heath Ledgers Joker coming in a close second.

  • I cant say I agree. Its definetley up there but lets not over react and call the best villian in movie history.
