If you mean as in goalkicking I would say Riewoldt and even Stephen Milne (He can only slot snap shots). Also, Dane Swan from Collingwood doesn't convert as many shots as he could. And don't forget Buddy Franklin, who could have been on 100 goals this season already if he kicked more accurately!

Hate to say it but west coast Rowan Jones (who retired last year) is shocking, and you would always dread him getting the ball. Riewoldt kicking last night was really off but i don't think it was the worst in the afl at all.

Back in the late 80's, early 90's it was James Manson of Collingwood and Fitzroy, 167 VFL-AFL games.

He even faked an injury once while with Collingwood. He had a mark in the pocket at Waverly Park, if my memory is good. I think it was Michael Christian who came on and kicked a goal for the Pies. Within seconds, Manson had recovered from his horrible injury and was ready to go back to the ruck.

    Edit:

Peter Sumich was a horrible kick for WCE. Seems like he would be on the top of the goal square and either miss everything or almost have to kick a banana--remember he was on the top of the goal square, not in the pocket. Sumich still kicked 514.354 in 150 AFL games. Accuracy for him is listed at 59 percent--that shows percent of scoring kicks that that were goals--it doesn't include out on the full.

Source(s): Memory and Wikipedia (Manson info), AFL Guide to the Season (Sumich info).
  • Rhyce Shaw, Milne, Riewoldt, and the majority of Ruckmen aren't the greatest of kicks

Lewis roberts thompson(swans) and richard tambling(richmond, tambling has a 20% goals off shots at goal and roberts thompson gets flukey goals but cant kick from right up forward

brad fisher. he has strong hands. he would be a great forword if he could kick straight. last night he missed and easy shot from about 25 meters out and it nearlly went out on the full.

Stephen Milne hands down. Couldn't slot a set-shot if his life depended on it.
