They are looking fairly awesome, but at the end of the year it comes down to just one game. And they've shown once this year that they are beatable, and they've just got away with it a couple other times too.

If you remember the Eagles were having a pretty good year at this point in 2007, and then it all fell apart rather quickly...

Let's see how good the Cats are when they are struck with some of the injury woes that other clubs have been dealt...

Oh yeah and why don't we just take away their enormous home ground advantage?

We all know that they are 1 of only 3 teams who have a home ground to themselves! It's grosely unfair to the other teams, but that's the AFL for you!

By the way, this years fixture was stuffed up and they don't even meet the Hawks until round 17 or the Blues until round 22!!!

I think it's different to last year, geelong were awesome on the weekend but the opposition were well below their best. Hawks, Dogs and maybe Sydney are all in with a chance too, i think it will realistically be out of them 4, (outsider Brisbane.)

I'd rather not tempt fate mate. The lid went back on firmly after the Pies game.

In my view there are three teams that still scare me ... Hawks, Doggies and Pies. Pies may be struggling but the Prelim last year and the game this year should be enough for anyone to understand their mortality.

  • theyre in great form. keep it up, and the hawthorn v geelong match will lose all its hype, except maybe the "how much will geelong win by"

oh and geelong hav got the cup in the bag, it's theirs to lose now

how good would it be to see geelong loose to the doggies in the grand final, or better still not even be there.

No, The doggies can still do it. Geelong will start loosing soon.

The comp's still wide open. You can't seriously say that Sydney, Bulldogs, and Hawks don't have a chance?

I think it's a very exciting and unpredictable season this year.

Well, seeing as all the other teams rate themselves on how they go against the Pies, I suppose that makes the Cats pretty f**king sh*t hey?

Too much left to play, nine rounds and all of the finals. Take a chill pill and just wait.
