No, Melbourne aren't planning to win a premiership in the near future so all Cousins would be doing is taking up Melbourne's money which they could be spending on the future generation of players.

Why Melbourne? I can't see them winning a flag. Let alone one game. Its not that Cousins isn't a good player its the fact that he isn't serious about his footy career with all those off-screen antics which are really the problem. I wouldn't mind if he came to Freo though. One condition: NO DRUGS!!

The real question is, would Cousins want to go to Melbourne? Most teams would be happy to have Cousins on their team, as long as he was serious about rebuilding his footy career.

    No. Not in a fit.

Have him at the club - you'd also have Michael Gardiner & all the pairs bikie mates hanging about the club. The Eagles tried for a couple of years to sort this pair out & couldn't. I don't think many leopards change their spots!

Why stop at Melbourne? An Afganistan poppy field would be more suitable.

He is 30 in like 2 weeks and hasn't played football for while now and with his history i don't think so

Nah.. They dont need that sort of attention at the moment..

Surely they would be concentrating on a fresh new pack of players to successfully lead their club into the next phase..?!

He is a shifty little prick who cant be trusted to stay out of trouble, nah too much of a liability to any club if ya ask me..
