I've seen GPS kits, for laptop computers for $60. or so, Does this work as advertised?

At Office Depot I looked at a GPS that had software and some type "Antenna" . I use my laptop to check weather while boating. It would be nice to cordinate location, thus GPS. What do you think?

ya that would work, I would deff use the 30 day warranty to try it though.. I used to use one with my laptop, and it took a while to get a lot of satellites to get the right location..

Try it. if u dont like it, u return it, lol

yes gps on computers does work very well and that price seems good. It sounds cheap but the antenna is the cheapest part of a gps unit.
