Does anyone know the best products and depth to use in an arena where cutting horses train?

    You want a sandyloam aprox 8-10'' in depth. It will give you good footing and allow enough give in the soil to sit down and slide, or roll back, and firm enough to alow you to get a good jump with out slipping. Good Luck.

    ps. you should be able to find it at a landscape suplier. where they sell large truck loads of mulch and sand ect.

    Deep sand, preferably an indoor arena (if you work on a flag, if not then outdoor is fine).

    you want deep but nice sand. Not to fine. not to thick. like pee gravel is to thick. Most trainers use a mixture of sands to get whats right. Your lookin for ground that the horse will not get stuck in. Unfortunatly i cant think of my trainers sand. but his is perfect. i know he used a mixture! hope this helps!
