I am in need of a photo manager for mac?

iPhoto is good but I dont like that it makes triplets of every photo I upload through it. I need to be able to quickly see and discard photos from hard drive.

    1. Why is iPhoto uploading triplets of every photo? mine certainly doesn't do that. Are you running the latest version?

Why not use the software that came with your camera? Most brands offer some sort of filing/sorting system.

Adobe Bridge is nice. It comes free when you buy Photoshop (Elements or any other version).

Of course, there is also Apple's Aperture and Adobe Lightroom - both of which are designed for pro use --- and fairly expensive.
