Born in the UK. Can I return from Canada even if I have been convicted on a minor charge.?

I'm booked to visit the UK in August but I should have checked "entry rules" first..... Now I'm worried that a conviction of running a common bawdy house" will prevent me entering the country I was born in.

Actually, in my actual trial I was cleared of all charges but the first charge I mention above was heard seperately and I should not have been convicted at all but I can't change that so will it come back to haunt me and prevent me from entry into the UK?
