Realising your limitations when you became a parent?
What limitations about your character and/or abilities did you find out/realise about yourself when you became a parent?

Well I don't know if you care about this or not, but I'm not a mommy yet - just a mommy of two kitties! However, it HAS made me realize a few things about myself. Like, I can sleep through a thunderstorm but the slightest tiny little sound of one of my kitties throwing up or getting into something wakes me. If I wake up in the middle of the night to a crash I jump out of bed and literally RUN to see what's wrong (and I am NOT the type of person who can jump out of bed). I also realized I'm really bad at the whole discipline thing...
