i m desperate..tonight is my gamers night and i cant get connected with live gameplay..only 7030 players online..
does anybody know wats going on..???

Live has been having trouble since the last update. Give it a few hours, and it should fix itself.

i think that the xbox live is supposed to be going under maintanence within a few days or something or tommorrw i cant remember... anyways xbox live sometimes is in a lull period during the days before and after the updates and maintanence stuff if you can actually sign in to xbox live then you are perfectly fine if not then you will have to wait or keep trying
