How do I reduce the size of my display window?

I know about the minimize and restore buttons in the top right corner.. but how can I make all my windows smaller?? I can't see the scroll bar at the right side of my pages. I just want to reduce the size a little so I can see the scroll bar.. and I want it to apply to all windows I open automatically. from now on

select control panel, display, pick your screen adjustments and move the display screen to the left and apply that will leave a space on the right and your scroll bar will show

Not sure, but you might just need to do the auto-sync on your monitor if it looks like some of the screen is being cut off. Refer to you monitor's documentation if you don't know how to do this. There may be a button on the front to do this, or you may have to go though the menus.

You're speaking of a pretty broad area.

You can not do this in XP and below but i think it is possible in the new Vista system.

You can also do this in linux by using a few lines of code

    Good Luck
