Vehicle automatic headlight turn on in N. America?

Is it strict law in U.S? any new car need to set it?

    Daytime running lights are standard equipment on all General Motors vehicles built after about 2001. They are not required by law in the US. Ford and Chrysler built vehicles do not have them.

    No, some car are equipped with daytime running lights and some are no, it is not required.

    twilight sentinel-featured on some cars-turns lights on and off by amount of daylight sensed. not required.
