unwarranted or solicited sexually explicit emails?

Question

how do I get rid of this filth that has infiltrated my email account without starting another account?  I followed my daughters suggestion of unsubscribing after I open just one and what I dod was open a pandoras box becuz now I'm getting them at an alarming rate in my emails where my grandkids can go to if they were on my computer for any reason.  PLS HELP!!!!!!  Spaming doesn't help.

I as a grand father know exactly what you mean. Sorry, but the only way is to open another e-mail account with a different name and just ignore the other one or try to delete it.  If you want to keep you ID just try to open another acct. with the same ID but you will have to add something to it such "Joesmith1 or some other number or letter. you can try blocking all but your contacts? Or, every time you get one click it as junk or spam.

But you may just have to get a new email, email all of your contacts with your new email address and then check your old email once a week for anything you may need

just a suggestion: have your main email for family and friends and have the old one for junk, contests, and all that stuff.

Use spam filter software. You can also set up "rules" with some email software that can target certain words. But nothing will get it all.
