IS NETWORKING CAREER good for a woman??? PLEASE RESPOND ME!!!?

I have a bachelor degree in physics, i am back to school for Visual Basic.Net programming. I have an ofer to get trainning first then paid internship at Microsoft in MCSE, and CCNP. What i Should do??? I have no job right now, but i am hoping to get one soon in programming, that why i am studing like crazy. Also, do you really know women who work in networking? Will be harder for me to get a job in networking then in programming software?

    The only hard part is you allowing it to be hard. You set the walls. You set the barriers. Networking can be a great career for anyone so as long as they are passionate about it.

    You can't possibly tell me that you will go on the rest of your life doing something just beacuse it draws a paycheck can you?

    It is all according to where you live. Programming is actually becoming harder to find since so many of these jobs are being outsourced and tons of people are still graduating in this field. I know a good many programmers that can't find jobs paying well in the field.. Networking is still mainly inhouse, so I am thinking you may have better chances with Networking.

    Source(s): Some places like smaller towns may give you a little grief about being a lady but otherwise I think you will be fine. The certification is a very good route though, you will really make yourself standout. BBA in Management Information Systems and work in the IT/Healtcare industry.
