hand gun manufacturers symbol?

i had a box of gun parts given to me, there is a bakelite pistol grip that has a z inside a c, cutting the top part of the c there is a v, does anyone know the manufacturer, it looks like it is from an auto loader.and if anyone wants it, email me ,and i'll mail it to you.

    It might be a CZ pistol grip from 1936 - 1949 era from CSSR/Czech Republic. The 'CZ' stands for Česká Zbrojovka a.s.

    You can double check the symbol on the website address below. If it is a match, then you have quite a piece of a history there. Too bad it wasn't a complete gun. Good luck. and I hope my answer helps. Cheers.

    it sounds as if you have the grip of a makorav...old kgb pistol,but i'm not sure.they looked like PPKs,but were russian and in 9x18mm
