corn cob pipes?

i ask this here because i figured someone in this section may know about them. my dad has an old can filled with tools for making corn cob pipes. he says it's got everything one would need for the job. i know, they can be made with common tools now but, these items are probably from the 30's. i've looked online for someone with knowledge about such things but got nowhere. does anyone here know if these tools would be important? we aren't looking to sell, just curious.

There is a Corn Cob Pipe Museum in Washington, Missouri. Why don't you contact someone there and get some information. Phone numbers 1-800-888-2109 or 636-239-2109.

Corn Cob pipes are very easily constructed with a corn cob and a knife, a sturdy stalk for the stem and you're set.

If you visited a couple of antique shops in your area and asked about these items perhaps you could gain some information/knowledge about them. If not, maybe they could recommend someone that did.

I am reasonably sure that you could sell them on Ebay. If not for the historic value then probably people who smoke weed would buy them.
