Warmest Sweater?

What material is the warmest for a sweater I think its wool but I'm not sure?

    Wool is warm but there are some synthetics made for people who live in cold climates that are even better and don't pose a problem for allergy sufferers. Check out L.L. Bean.

    Wool, and cashmere is also quite warm. You may also want to look at something blended with silk, because surprisingly, silk is really really warm.

    Avoid blends that include acrylic or anything that is all acrylic, it usually tends to be itchy.
