If Mayweather gives Hatton a one way beating, will he finally be acknowledged?
I am by no means a Mayweather fan, and if you asked me I am on the fence about the Mayweather/Hatton fight. This is more of a question about the hating on FM. If Mayweather gave a beating to Hatton in the same way that he beat Gatti, will he finally be acknowledged as an all time great? Consequently, if Hatton beats Mayweather, will HE be considered an all time great? If Hatton IS considered one by winning, wouldnt that by consequence MAKE Mayweather an all time great? Your thoughts.

Mayweather has little to prove against Hatton. If FM wins, he just beat another one of those insulated brits. FM has accomplished just about all he can, and the only thing left is for him to prove that he's too old to fight. Just when that'll happen is anyone's guess.
So, no..he won't be any more acknowledged than he is now.

PBF has nothing to prove however I don't see how you can call him one of the all time greats when he has only fought 10-20 % of the approximate 160-320 fights that some of the real all time greats fought. I know some people are probably going to make a case attempting to compare PBF's undefeated career to Marciano's undefeated career, but........C'mon people...Does anyone really think that PBF is a Jr. Rocky ??-----Lastly, as I have said repeatedly, I can't understand why so many people presume that the PBF/Hatton fight is going to be another fight identical to PBF/Gatti ?? ----Gatti & Hatton are 2 different fighters....Not a one way beating but PBF will win by decision.

If Mayweather were to beat hatton then step up and beat both cotto and paul williams, then I would rank him as one of the all time greats.
