found a strange animal track?

i;ve never seen this before it was on a sand bush road in mid ontario,it had rained the night before and theywere fresh, if you hook your two pointer fingers and touch the tips together ,holding the half hoop you see out to about 3 inches on the inside,the track and toe marks looked like what you see,only there were  5 toe serations, the tracks were 3/4 inch deep at the point, angeling up to mid print about 2 and a half inches long , the steps were in a near straight line at about 3 feet apart. they came out at the edge of a swamp hole 40 yards down the road then back in at the othere edge, if you know this track let me know , thanks

Impossible to say from just a description.  I would need at least a picture of the track.  The best thing you can do if you can find the track again or another fresh one is to make a plaster cast of it and take it to a wildlife biologist for identification.

Couldn't say  from your description, but you might find it here, if not it's an anomaly (maybe Sasquatch)
