how to remove fan clutch from '84 dodge w350 w/360cid?
trying to replace water pump.

If you found the right socket to fit the nut........It's left hand thread...lefty tighty righty loosey. (they did that because of the rotation of the engine...so the nut stays tight).....
...There are holes drilled in the pulley that you can insert a phillips head screwdriver in to hold the whole thing still while you are turning the nut.
Do yourself a favor and remove the radiator if you haven't already done so...you will surely poke holes in it.

It's easier to pull the water pump bolts and remove the whole mess, fan & clutch attached. Then you can swap them over to the new pump prior to the install.
