How many cigarettes can you bring into the USA?
We want to bring a carton of 200 with us, will there be a problem at customs?

no you can bring up to 200 cigarettes not 200 packs. You can bring more but you then have to pay the tax on them.

It really depends on the country you are exporting to.
See the ATF is a little short sighted on the western countries.
But if you haul in amounts like that from say...The middle east or turkey they'll not let you past the booth.
If you are bringing only 200 cigarettes into the states I don't see how thats a problem. Now 200 packs? Your screwwed there.

in case you're a resident coming from American Samoa, Guam or the US Virgin Islands, you are able to improve to one thousand cigarettes. Coming from different international places, you are able to hold purely 2 hundred cigarettes, a genuine looking quantity of tobacco, and a hundred cigars. For non-citizens, you need to be 21. you are able to hold 2 hundred cigarettes or 50 cigars or 2kg of tobacco or a mixture of proportionate aspects.
