Anybody have any idea what is going on with Owen Wilson?

What makes you think he has it all together? Because he smiles when they take a picture of him. Celebrity isn't easy. You have to have a strong balance to get through the hard times. People act as though he tried it cuz his bank account sd 20 million when he thought it was 40 mil. Life can be hard no matter who you are, you gotta be strong and seek help.

Often, it's the funny, happy guy or girl who hides a dark side. It's actually quite easy with someone who has suicidal tendancies to hide this from the world. Only someone really close to him would maybe get a glimpse of it. How often do we hear "But he/she had everything?".

Just heard on TV that Owen's "friends" are saying he's been depressed since breaking up with Kate Hudson - goodness knows if this is true or not. Also heard that about 7 years ago, he checked himself into a facility that dealt with both depression and drug addiction. Again, who knows.

Very sad though. Always sad for anyone, celebrity or not, that they think this is the only way out of their pain.

Maybe that's the problem. He SEEMS to have it all together.

Could you imagine being in the spotlight all the time and everyone expects you to be ON and to be Funny with a smile always on your face?

When I heard about what happened with him, I felt sorry for him. I hope he gets better and takes some time off to think about his future.

Being an actor there is alot of stress they deal with day by day and it's very hard especially since it's what brings the money in.

i was shocked too...who would have thought? obviously the problems are alive and well over in hollywood
