A legitimate employer would do the credit check themselves if they were truly looking to hire someone. There is no job and it is part of a scam to steal your personal information. This person pretends to work for a hiring agency and sends you a link to pull your own credit report trying to obtain your info. Craigslist, monster, and careerbuilder are all full of fake job postings with scammers looking to steal your personal information. Here are three steps to figuring out whether you're dealing with a legitimate job offer. Before giving any personal information, contact the organization directly and ask for the human resource department. That department should know if a job position is open, and even may be able to help arrange a real phone or face-to-face interview. Be wary about interviews conducted entirely by e-mail or instant messenger. Since online scam artists often operate from countries outside of the U.S. they will be trying to keep their international phone bill down. Call your state's Department of Justice Consumer Protection hotline. Agents there can perform their own investigation into whether or not a job offer is legitimate, and get back to you with their results.

Yes, you could report it to the RCMP. They have a special unit the handles internet fraud. However, they are probably already aware of this particular scam.
What is perhaps more important is how YOU handle such spam mail. Firstly, you should NEVER open emails from people you don't know. Just because an email has landed in your inbox doesn't mean you should open it. If you don't recognize the sender, delete it. Secondly, if you do happen to open spam mail, never reply to spam mail and never click any links in spam mail. These only confirm to the spammers that you have an active email address (this wouldn't know known it previously). Thirdly, never attempt to unsubscribe from ANY mailing lists. This again only servers to alert the spammers to your active address, to which they will send unimaginable amounts of spam in the future.

Never let this guy scam you he is pretending to be a woman by the name Rose Mary Frimpong from Accura, Ghana. I coned him back to tie him up from from hurting everyone else. He is very convincing but I knew and he wants money and he loves you so much and wants to marry you he hates Ghana because there are not white guys there. Which is true! Not many White girls either but I wish it would let me post all of the photos but this hook probably would get an unsuspecting lonely man. I blew my cover when I said I came to meet her. It was a lie but he got pissed then I played innocent and ask way she was mad at me. Then I told him I was just two block from the internet cafe' he then immediately went off line and the email used is :Rose.mavis22@yahoo.com he goes buy Rose Mary Frimpong and Rose Mary Mavis it is suppose to be a nickname. Spread the word thanks. I am going to do a you tube video of these sick bastards.
