Have you read 'God: The Failed Hypothesis'?

Has anyone here read the book by author Victor J. Stenger called 'God: The Failed Hypotheis: How Science Shows That Goes Does Not Exist'? If so, care to comment?

I saw a TV interview with Stenger about his book. He seems not as poetic as, say, Richard Dawkins, but few are. His style in the interview was more like a highly competent engineer (he's a physicist). I'm eager to read this book to see how he differs on paper.

No, I have not read it, and must probably won't read it. Let me give you the reason:

Science cannot demonstrate anything about G-d, for the reason that science is founded in methodological materialism. That means that science is only useful to study the things that can be measured. And G-d, of course, cannot be measured: He is immaterial, as immaterial are our consciousnesses and souls.
