Anyone know what those signs are called in movie production?
You know? The black and white striped ones a crew member holds up before a scene and shouts 'such and such take 4' ? I'm searching and can't find it. Thanks

It's called a slate or clapper.
The person holding it is called a clapper boy.
The instruction to put the slate in front of the camera is simply: "Slate in!"
